Arizona Drive by Josette Urso
"Arizona Drive" by Josette Urso
1/78

echoing to the land's desolation
the spirit of wind rising in the cold
carrying the life away
in waves,
screaming to see
see the night before you
playing scenes in threads of sleep
and sink into a reverie

as if within a dream of crying
you finally cried
and walked alone to a neon
island
washed in the moonlight

coyote in the wounded air cry the quiet
echoing
to cross between sleep and motion

coyote on the red earth desert
Arizona
